In this week's selection of films and shows on Amazon Prime, a group of gearheads have stupid arguments and drive fast cars.   • The Grand Tour - Season 2 - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are back for the second season of this Amazon original series, which is once again full of fast cars, wild adventures, and arguments about which one of them is the biggest idiot.
  • Crown Heights - This Amazon original film based on a report from This American Life follows Colin as he spends his life in pursuit of justice for his friend Carl, who has been convicted of a murder that he didn't commit.
  • It Comes at Night - After a plague ravages the outside world, Paul and Sarah shut themselves and their son Travis off from the outside world. When another family of three surfaces, seemingly unaffected by the plague, the to families join together to defend themselves against the illness, along with anyone who might look to take what they have.

Looking ahead

This week's new additions to Amazon's Prime Video lineup feature yet another installment of Thursday Night Football, this time with the Denver Broncos heading off to Indianapolis to face off against the Colts. You can also check out a new Amazon Original Series, Jean Claude Van Johnson, which sees Jean-Claude Van Damme play a factionalized version of himself who is not only an actor, but a spy as well.

  • Thursday Night Football: Saints vs. Falcons - The Denver Broncos take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15 of Thursday Night Football. As usual, pregame starts at 7:25 PM Eastern, with kickoff at 8:25. Arrives December 14.
  • Jean Claude Van Johnson - Season 1 - In this Amazon original action comedy series, action star Jean-Claude Van Damme, the Muscles from Brussels, plays a factionalized version of himself that is not only an actor, but an international super spy as well.. Arrives December 15.
